Did you ever find your kitchen utensils smiling back at you?...I mean, in broad daylight when you're wide awake and in your right mind..This face met me as I was putting away the pan the other day, I kid you not!...Sure, it's not the face of the Blessed Virgin nor even John Lennon, but does have that "70s Smile" motif...So, Mr. Happy Smiley Pan says "Hello! Me Happy Smiling Pan! Happy fun joy to all!"...I couldn't have said it better: Happy day to you!...

So how can you boil something in it now that it has a face, it might go away, and you'll be back with an ordinary plain pan?
In fact my dear brother, that is precisely what happened, and so the face you see here is now only a culinary memory in the pasta-cooking steaming mists of history...Maybe to reappear in a mexican tortilla someday...sigh...
